Eastern Utah CPA’s, PLLC provides audit services to governmental units and not-for-profit organizations allowing us to focus strictly on their accounting and auditing issues. As a result, we keep current with the Governmental Accounting, Auditing and Financial Reporting (GAAFR) text; Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB); Governmental Auditing Standards (the Yellow Book); the Single Audit Act; the requirements of the “State of Utah Uniform Accounting Manual for all Local Governments”, and Utah law pertaining to budgets, as well as other applicable laws. To help us stay current we maintain a library with current text of the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB), and other applicable publications. We subscribe to Practitioners Publishing Company for audit manuals and their monthly Governmental Update Service. We are also members of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and receive their monthly updates.
